Terry Kyle’s criminal past includes teaching, screenwriting, playwriting, and copywriting for some of the world’s largest blue-chip companies.  

While completing a medal-winning BA at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia in 1994, Terry wrote and directed a feature-length science-fiction telemovie, Terrain, a science-fiction thriller, which was subsequently screened several times by the Nine Network. Nine were Australia’s #1 broadcaster then, though they slipped to #2 after screening Terrain and have never recovered.

Terry holds a Masters degree in Teaching Drama & English from the University of Sydney. In 2004, he appeared as Maloy in a satirical digital feature entitled Wango & Maloy which he co-wrote and co-produced.

During the 1990s and 'Noughties', he has worked as a copywriter, pitch leader and creative director in ‘through-the-line’ marketing for clients like Pepsi, Kellogg’s, Thomas Cook, Commonwealth Bank and AIS in Thailand.

Apart from his cheeky girlfriend, Terry’s main loves in life are Salsa, Japanese sports cars, marinated tofu, Kurt Vonnegut, acoustic folk-rock like The Church, paisley shirts, Bruce Dawe’s poetry, Thailand, golden retrievers, Canada’s Rocky Mountains, documentaries, Kyokushin karate, reading/writing short stories and seahorses.
